Frank Martin Gilligan grew up in NYC, but when he was 19 years old..…Texas happened.. Frank moved to Beaumont, Texas, in the late 70's,he immediately formed MASON DIXON, a Texas vocal group that enjoyed a pretty good run on the charts and on the road in the 1980's and 90's. They played with just about everyone who was big in Country music at the time and racked up 13 Billboard chart singles as well.

Classic Rewind

Classic Rewind began performing together in early 2022.
Classic Rewind (SA) features the classic song stylings and guitar playing of Homer Gutierrez; Phil Hearn on bass and background vocals; and Alan Bush on Drums. Over the past 50 plus years, Homer and Alan have toured and performed with several major artists on national tours and at major venues throughout the United States; Phil has performed with San Antonio local bands since his arrival in 1986.
We are a classic rock three-piece band and mix things up with songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90’s. We currently perform regularly at 259 Brantley's; Chicken N Pickle; Guadalupe Brewing Co.; Rock N Brews; Krause’s Café; Faust’s Brewery; Mr. Jim’s Trading Post; Coolcrest Miniature Golf on their Metzger Biergarten stage; and for several non-profits, private events and parties in and around San Antonio. We were regular monthly performers at The Bar Seguin and Don Adolpho’s prior to their closing.
While there are many classic rock bands, Classic Rewind separates itself from the pack with a unique selection of the classic hit songs we play. While our repertoire may be more unique, the songs are still recognizable hits of the times. See our most recent song list, we are constantly looking to add one or two songs each week to increase our catalog of songs.
We can cater to a dance crowd and/or a listening crowd, and we have a very full sound that can accommodate large or smaller venues.
Classic Rewind will bring back many memories as you listen to the songs you grew up with and enjoyed but rarely hear from a live band today.
